As we expand our portfolio in space and defense programs, we are seeking a highly capable and motivated Total Quality, Security & HSE Senior Expert to strengthen our governance, compliance, and operational excellence framework.
WHAT YOU’LL DO – YOUR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to senior management, the Total Quality, Security & HSE Senior Expert will lead and integrate the company’s:
Quality Management System (QMS)
Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Industrial & Classified Security framework
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management System
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with international standards, ESA requirements, Greek defense regulations, and occupational health & safety legislation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company’s Facility Security Clearance (FSC); supporting the CIS (Communication Information Systems) accreditation (e.g. defining governance structure; SOPs; etc.); defining and implementing a comprehensive security plan at corporate level; that can safeguard sensitive and classified information.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Quality & Operational Excellence
Lead and continuously improve the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System.
Monitor KPIs, manage non-conformities, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Act as Facility Security Officer
Ensure supplier and subcontractor quality compliance.
🔹 Information & Industrial Security
Maintain and enhance the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Lead risk assessments and information security governance processes.
Support the security accreditation of Communication and Information Systems (CIS) used for handling classified information.
Coordinate documentation and compliance activities required for CIS Security Accreditation under national and/or EU & NATO regulations.
Ensure technical, procedural, and physical safeguards are aligned with accreditation requirements.
Support audits and inspections by competent national security authorities.
🔹 Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Manage and improve the Occupational Health & Safety framework (aligned with ISO 45001 principles).
Ensure compliance with Greek H&S legislation.
Conduct workplace risk assessments and incident investigations.
Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
🔹 Governance & Risk
Integrate quality, security, and HSE risks into a unified risk management framework.
Prepare management review reports and compliance dashboards.
Drive continuous improvement and operational resilience initiatives.
YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERTISE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Information Security or related field.
3+ years of experience in Quality, Security, or Compliance roles.
Proven experience with:
ISO 9001
ISO/IEC 27001
ISO 45001 (or equivalent)
Experience in aerospace, space, defense, or high-tech industries strongly preferred.
Experience in organizations holding a Facility Security Clearance (FSC) is a strong asset.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure
Strong analytical mindset, leadership capability, and regulatory awareness.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Eligibility
Ability to obtain and maintain Personnel Security Clearance, if required.
Eligibility to work on defense and classified programs under Greek and EU regulations.
